Our Story

Boba League started out as a social grass volleyball drop-in at Adanac Park during the end of the pandemic in 2022. As summer ended and players returned to the indoors, it became apparent that there was a lack of opportunities for local Vancouverites to play and enjoy a great recreational sport. Registration was selling out in seconds at many league organizations. Recognizing that there was a need, in November, Boba League began searching for a facility to organize a small league. After two months of hard work, in Jan 2023, Boba League was officially established. 6 Teams, 40+ players, a 3 court gym, and an 8 week season of bubble tea drinking gameplay! We are now serving 32 Teams, 200+ players this Winter season and we hope to grow even further in the future.

Part of the FTLO family

In April 2023, Boba League joined the FTLO Volleyball Association and is now an official league of the FTLO Volleyball Association. We are proud to be a part of an amazing Not-For-Profit organization that promotes quality adult volleyball training and is focused on building an inclusive social sport community.
