Details: Rally ready players starting new teams and starting to learn positions and roles as part of their team strategy. Medium Pace Matches.
Restriction: No “A” Players and above.

FTLO Skill Level: BB - Lower Intermediate
Rally Ready players. Players who can consistently pass, set, and hit at a recreational pace or in a controlled training environment. BB level builds on top of basic skills, integrating 6’s or 4’s team play, and may be training in specific positions and roles on the court.
At this level: Players can sustain (but are also improving on) multiple contacts in each rally, with more challenges in receiving and defending faster paced attacks.
Development: Responsive movements to team play, strengthening of all fundamentals + blocking and digging, roles and responsibilities during rallies.

Dates: Apr 12, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; June 7, 14
Location: Byrne Creek Community School, Burnaby
Format: Round Robin Matches, Finale Tournament, No Playoffs
**Registered teams must be available from 3pm to 7pm for rebalance purposes**
**Teams will be rebalanced and moved between divisions, locations & time blocks (3pm to 5pm & 5pm to 7pm) during the season based on their statistical performance**
Note: Any Oolong applicants are permitted to register also for Mango Flavour.
**Waitlisted teams may be offered a spot in Mango Flavour BB (1pm to 3pm) if there are available slots**
Regular Season Time: Oolong – 3:00pm to 5:00pm (2 hours)
Tournament Day: June 14 – 6 Team Round Robin
Tournament Time: 10:00am to 2:30pm (4.5 hours)
Team Registration Fee: $1085 Per Boba Team
Capacity: 12 Teams Per Flavour, 6 Players Per Team
Additional Details:
Week 1 – Placement Matches
(Teams will play 5 matches with teams of different flavours. Based on the teams’ stats, the league may move teams to their appropriate flavour at their discretion.)
Week 4 and 7 – Re-Balancing the Flavours
(The league may move teams to other flavours for re-balancing purposes, based on wins/loss record stats, at the league’s discretion)
Final Week – Round Robin 4 Hour Tournament & Awards
