Rally ready teams that have designated positions in their roster and apply proficient team strategies. Equal to Gr. 8 volleyball play. Medium to fast pace matches.
Restriction: No Beginners or AA players & above.
Rally Ready players. Players who can consistently pass, set, and hit at a moderate pace or in a controlled training environment. BB+ level builds on top of BB skills, having some existing 6’s or 4’s team play experience, and may be specializing in specific positions and roles on the court.
At this level: Players can sustain (but are also improving on) multiple contacts in each rally, with more challenges in receiving and defending faster paced attacks.
Development: Responsive movements to team play, strengthening of all fundamentals + blocking and digging, roles and responsibilities during rallies.
Dates: Apr 12, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; June 7(9 Sessions)
Location: Burnaby Mountain Secondary School, Burnaby
Format: 12 Teams Round Robin Matches, Finale Tournament, No Playoffs
Rebalance: Mango BB & Coconut BB+ will rebalance during the season
**Teams must be available for rebalancing and maybe moved between divisions & locations (Byrne Creek & Burnaby Mountain) during the season based on their statistical performance**
IMPORTANT: If an Jassmine Team is waitlisted, they may be allowed to play in the Coconut Flavour if there are available slots.
Regular Season Time: 1:00pm to 3:00pm (2 hours)
Tournament Day: June 7th – 6 Team Round Robin
Capacity: 12 Teams Per Flavour, 6 Players Per Team
