We’ve put together answers to some common questions to help you navigate registration, scheduling, and participation in the Boba League. Whether you’re a returning team or new to the league, we hope this FAQ clarifies how to get involved and what to expect.

The Boba League is open to players of various skill levels. Teams are generally divided into flavours based on skill level to ensure balanced and enjoyable competition.
Unfortunately, no. Each player is limited to one flavour per season. This policy helps ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity to participate and prevents multiple registrations from taking away spots from others eager to play. However, you are welcome to sub for other flavours if needed!
Teams must be available for both time blocks within their designated division. If you foresee any scheduling conflicts, please contact the league as soon as possible at leagues@ftlovolleyball.ca to discuss potential accommodations.
OOLONG AND JASMINE
Due to high interest, individual registrations aren’t available for these flavours. However, you can join the substitute list (sub list) to be contacted if any spots open up.

Yes, individual sign-ups are available for this flavour!
For returning season teams, Team captains should email leagues@ftlovolleyball.ca to request the registration forms. Please include “20XX Season Boba Registration” in the subject line for a prompt response.
For all other teams, registration forms will be available on our website under the “Registrations” section once open.
After the registration period closes, teams will be notified of their acceptance status via email. We will begin sending out notifications to team captains within 1 to 1.5 weeks after the final registration deadline.
If your team is accepted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps. This will include instructions for completing your registration, payment details, and any additional forms required.
Upon acceptance, follow the instructions provided in your confirmation email to complete registration and secure your spot. Be sure to complete all steps, including payment, by the specified deadline to confirm your team’s participation.
We understand that teams may have scheduling preferences, but due to logistical constraints, we cannot guarantee specific game times or dates.
If you join the sub list, you’ll be contacted when teams need additional players for specific games. Subbing for multiple teams may be possible, but we’ll notify you of any restrictions based on league rules and team needs.
