Join us for a full day of exciting volleyball while giving back to our local community! The two FTLO Charity Tournaments will each bring together 18 teams for a mix of friendly yet competitive play, all in support of Journey Home Community, a local charity dedicated to helping refugee claimants find housing, support, and a sense of belonging as they start new lives in Canada.
📍Location: Byrne Creek Community School, 7777 18th St, Burnaby, BC V3N 5E5
📅When: Sunday, December 7th and 14th
🕢Time: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
🏐 Skill (December 7th): BB+/A (Intermediate/Advanced) Jasmine, Brown Sugar
🏐 Skill (December 14th): – B/BB (Beginner) Taro, Matcha, Oolong, Mango
Charity Tournament Prize: 1st Place Team – $50 Little Pisces Gift Card + Boba Merch
Team Composition: 6 players is a complete team (minimum 2 of each gender on the court at all times)
Team Registration Fees: $290 per team (GST included)
**Up to 7 players per team – $15 fee for any additional players after 7th player**
Minimum Membership Requirements: Team rosters containing high percentage of FTLO members will be prioritized.

What is FTLO Membership?
To become a member, you must have been a registered participant who completed a full season of FTLO clinic or Boba League.
- Substitute players on a Boba Team are not eligible for membership. Players must be registered at the start of the season to be eligible
- Participants only played in FTLO Open League or Summer Grass Tournament are not eligible for priority registration and will not have received membership status
- Each Boba League player will possess a Boba Pin as proof of membership
Schedule
- 8:30 AM: Registration Check-In
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Seeding Games
- 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM: Lunch Break
- 12:45 PM – 5:00 PM: Double-Elimination Playoffs
- 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM Cleanup and goodbyes!

Skill Level and Expectation
December 7th’s tournament is designed for Intermediate/Advanced (FTLO BB+/A) level players.
December 14th’s tournament is designed for Beginner (FTLO B/BB) level players.
Skill Level Considerations
⚠️ Teams are expected to be in the overall level they are signing up for
⚠️ Any players exceeding level must adjust their playstyle, respect the level the team has signed up for and take on a support role (e.g., setter)
